This website was created to document my 1979 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper that I have restored over the years . The bus was purchased with 43k Original Miles in South Dakota in 2001. After dropping a valve seat which these engines are known for I decided to rebuild the engine myself. After three unsuccessful rebuilds due to part failures I decided to invest in one of Aircooled Technologies Camper Special Kits.  The Camper now has Massive power and will keep up with today’s traffic. The engine has performed flawlessly to date and we plan on using it for long distance camping for many years to come!
